Who We’re Hiring:

The  Senior Financial Analyst  plays a critical role in supporting financial planning and analysis activities, providing strategic insights, and driving data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to analyze financial data, develop forecasts, and generate reporting; all to assist in driving the company's financial performance and growth.

This position reports to and works closely with the Company’s CFO. Success in this position will require exceptional organizational skills, attention to details, creative problem solving, understanding of financial and accounting, and the ability to manage many simultaneous projects and deadlines. Additionally, the successful candidate should be able to build relationships across all stakeholders. This role will have autonomy to adjust procedures and processes to make them more efficient and better aligned to company and department goals.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

Drive Strategic Financial Insights

  • Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance.
  • Build and maintain complex financial models for scenario analysis, business case evaluations, and new business underwriting.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across the company to uncover financial trends and translate data into actionable insights that improve performance.

Build and Report on Financial Performance

  • Develop and track key financial and customer metrics (KPIs), providing clear visibility into our performance against targets.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and presentations for senior leadership, the executive team, and key stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of investor materials, including board decks and investor communications, helping to tell our company's story.

Lead Operational Excellence

  • Identify and champion process improvements within the finance function and across the company to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices to ensure our financial operations are robust and competitive.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles, preferably in a fast-paced technology or investment banking environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data and communicate insights effectively
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and variance analysis.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles is a plus.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software systems. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in databases, data pipelines and SQL querying is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and a high level of integrity.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
